Resource Consent Application - Resource
Management Act 1991
Details of the resource consent application and submission forms are available in
the offces at Lakes Environmental Limited (74 Shotover Street, Queenstown or 33-
35 Reece Crescent, Wanaka) and Queenstown-Lakes District Council (Gorge Road,
Queenstown or 47 Ardmore Street, Wanaka) during normal offce hours (8.30am to
5.00pm). A full copy of this notifed package is also available for you to download on
Lakes Environmental's website when the submission period commences.
SPEARGRASS FARMS LTD -- RM120680
Subdivision consent is sought to subdivide the site into two allotments, being
proposed Lot 1 of 34.3934 hectares and proposed Lot 2 of 7.8805 hectares. A
1000m2 residential building platform is proposed on Lot 2 with associated access,
landscaping and earthworks.
Proposed Lot 1 will contain the western vehicle access, existing hay barn, consented
residential building platform, the existing dwelling and farm buildings.
Proposed Lot 2 will contain a 1000m2 residential building platform, eastern access
point and the farm shed consented by RM100586. Proposed Lot 2 replaces an
existing small title (Lot 1 DP2524) located to the north of proposed Lot 2. A driveway
is to be formed from the existing access of Speargrass Flat Road in the South
Western corner of the site.
The applicant has proposed a range of design controls for future built form and has
proposed a curtilage area of 3000m2 in area including the platform. Water will be
supplied from an existing on site bore, wastewater and stormwater will be disposed
of to ground onsite.

Draft Annual Plan 2013/14 and Amendment to Policy on
Development Contributions ON DEVELOPMENT CON-
The draft Annual Plan 2013/14 is now open for public comment.
This notice, pursuant to Sections 83, 83A, 85 and 95 of the Local Government Act
2002 formally invites submissions on the Council's draft Annual Plan for 2013/14.
In addition to the draft Annual Plan 2013/14, Council is concurrently undertaking
consultation in regard to the following additional matters:
• Statement of Proposal to amend the Policy on Development Contributions
Copies of the draft Annual Plan 2013/14 (including the statements of proposal
referred to above) are available from Council offces at Gorge Road, Queenstown,
and Ardmore Street, Wanaka. It can also be viewed at Council Libraries in
Queenstown, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Kingston, Glenorchy and Hawea.
The draft is also available on the Council website www.qldc.govt.nz or by direct
request to the Council via email firstname.lastname@example.org .
A summary of the draft Annual Plan, including submission form, will be distributed
to all householders as an insert in newspapers "The (Queenstown) Mirror" and "Wa-
naka Sun" during the week commencing April 22, 2013. It will be sent as a direct
mail out to all out of town ratepayers. The summary will also be available from the
outlets above from the same date. Council encourages residents and ratepayers to
submit online www.qldc.govt.nz
Submissions on the draft Annual Plan will close at 12pm on Monday May 13, 2013.
These will be heard by the Council on May 29 (Queenstown) and May 30 (Wanaka)
2013. It is intended the Annual Plan 2013/14 will be adopted at the full Council
meeting on Tuesday June 25, 2013.
